Great staff, especially Toby and Jason. Elevators seemed to go down often. Fire alarm went off often. Should be a financial punishment for failure to clean up animal waste.

I love everything about living here. The location to town and highways is great, floorplan suits my needs perfectly, the amenities are excellent, the management is polite and responsive, maintenance is there when needed, parking is plentiful, the area and apartments are quiet, etc. Highly recommend.

Great location for dogs. 20 minute walking distance to downtown. 15 minute walk to the Gulch. 10 minutes to Farmers Market. Joe Muer Seafood across the street. M.L. Rose too.

I am very glad that I chose Capitol View as my home for the last two years and for the near future. The pool and the gym are great. The office staff and maintenance staff are very prompt to address and correct any issue. The neighborhood is perfect because it is essentially located and I can get anywhere in Nashville in less than 10 minutes or a nine dollar Uber.

I have really enjoyed my experience at Capital View. The neighborhood can't be beat. Amenities are some of the best - the pool area is the biggest in the area and a lot of fun in the warmer months. The staff also makes this a great place to live; all very friendly, and very quick to respond to any sort of maintenance requests.

In the past 5 years, I lived in 5 different apartment communities in 3 different states due to moving frequently for work. I’ve lived at the Residences at Capitol View for 3 months now, long enough to move past the “honeymoon” phase of being a new tenant, and every interaction with the community staff makes me feel just as important as the day I moved in. Whether it’s maintenance showing up within 5 minutes to fix a leaking water heater, or the front desk staff taking an interest in how I train my dog on our walks, they focus on the little things and treat their residents like family. They offer frequent resident events that are thoughtfully planned and in tune with things residents value, as well as offering other rewards programs and incentives on top of their high-end amenities. The price of rent is well supported by everything this community has to offer, and I don’t think I could have made a better choice for my pets and I. We love calling the Residences at Capitol View home!

One of the standout features of my apartment building is the amenities. The fitness center is well-equipped and allows me to stay active without the hassle of a gym membership. Additionally, the community lounge and rooftop terrace provide great spaces to relax and socialize with neighbors. These amenities truly enhance the overall living experience. Maintenance requests are handled promptly and efficiently. Whenever I have had an issue, the maintenance team has responded quickly and resolved the problem to my satisfaction. Their professionalism and expertise are commendable. Overall, my experience with my apartment rental building has been nothing short of excellent. The management team, the well-maintained facilities, the amenities, the security measures, and the convenient location all contribute to a positive and enjoyable living experience. I highly recommend this apartment building to anyone in search of a comfortable and welcoming place to call home.

I love living here at Capitol View. I really wanted to find a place that was close to downtown, but far enough away from the craziness. It is a perfect walk to the Gulch and having Publix below is a huge plus. The staff have always been very helpful and are good with communication.

I love living here. The staff is incredible. They are prompt, honest, professional, and trustworthy. The only two things I dislike about living here is the water heater and I have horrible cell phone service. I have had maintenance out here twice and I still end up with a cold shower in 10 minutes. Is there anything that can be done?

It’s all been pretty good so far! The staff remain A+ and the convenience can’t be beat. Love that we’re a bit away from the fray but able to saunter over to downtown easily. As with any other building there are issues here and there but nothing major.

This community is wonderful! Everyone I run into is so nice and friendly, it truly feels like a community and not just another apartment complex. The building is beautiful and well kept, always clean and fresh smelling. The amenities cover all of my needs and wants, and then some. Even my pets are loved and welcome, something that you won’t find everywhere. I couldn’t be happier with my choice to live here!

I have recently renewed my lease to live at Residences at Capital View for my 3rd year in a row and could not be happier with my decision. Since I initially moved into the building, the Capital View area has grown exponentially and all for a more positive residentials experience. There are an array of great restaurants, shops, exercise studios, salons and they have really made significant improvements to the walking paths and other areas of the community by adding artwork and improving the landscaping. I love the staff here and they could not be more helpful each time I have reached out to them for assistance, including their top notch maintenance staff. I especially love how safe I feel in this neighborhood. There are a lot of great apartment buildings in the Nashville area, but this building truly invests in the entire community and not solely on the building which makes it such a positive experience to live here.

the move in process was a little rocky because our employee who helped us through the leasing process left and we weren't notified. It made the transition into this apartment stressful. the apartment itself is nice however we had issues getting assigned an apartment due to the previous issue.

I've lived in this community complex for nearly five years, so that should tell you something in itself. The facility stays neat and clean at all times. They respond quickly to any maintenance concerns and the maintenance staff is friendly and professional. The community is animal friendly which should be a big plus for those with pets. The amenities are awesome, and well maintained. There's been a bit of turnover in the leasing office staff. Sorry to see some go, and would hope that others would go as they tend to forget they are in the "people" serving business. I'm most certain it can't be easy managing a facility of this nature. There are certain people who are a great fit, and others who should find a new career, as those of us who pay to live here don't appreciate their lack of people skills. Other than that, this is a great place to live, and I would highly recommend this community to anyone interested in Urban Nashville living!

the building is in a great neighborhood, it feels very safe. its great being close to Publix and various restaurants. we enjoy walking to the farmers market. the gulch, and even occasionally to Broadway. the walls between units are well insulated with very minimal noise transfer. the units have good finishes and are a good size. its a very friendly apartment community and staff, with a variety of people and ages. i personally would like to see more general cleaning of the common areas (corridors, stairwells, and the garage).

Good accept for Fire Alarms constantly going off, train noise, people popping out of foliage around tracks, homeless staying around property, elevators constantly breaking, residents not cleaning up after themselves or their animals around common areas and pool.

Building is well-maintained and maintenance requests are completed within 24 hours typically (sometimes much quicker!). On the other hand, our building-wide fire alarms go off very frequently, mostly due to "system error" or "low water pressure." I have enjoyed my two years with this building but have found a new building with lower prices down the road for this next lease.

I love living at the Residences at Capitol View! The staff is super attentive and friendly, the convenience to downtown is excellent. The amenities are plentiful and well maintained. The grocery store on the ground floor is super convenient. And the maintenance staff is super quick! Most of my requests are done within 48 hours, some even same-day.

The entire leasing office and management here is excellent. The events are always a great time and they put in the time to know every resident. The maintenance staff is awesome, fix issues quickly, and I 100% trust them in my house when I’m not there. Even the cleaning ladies are lovely :) I sold my house just to live in the 5 star resort here. You will find every amenity here you’ve ever wanted along with great shopping, restaurants, and activities. You will love living here!

Overall great neighborhood, safe to walk around, convenient location, close but not too close to freeways. Residents are generally friendly and considerate. A few things that can be improved: It maybe worthwhile to communicate with trucks / goods delivery that very often blocks one or both lanes in the alleyway where our garage exit is at between Nelson Merry and Charlotte. There was a significant reduction in number of Peloton bikes (from 4 to 1) shortly after moving in in 2022, would like to know if there are plans to re-introduce additional bikes as they are quite popular amongst the residents. Also, would be great if we can add a pulley / cable station in the gym to allow more exercise variety.

I absolutely love living in this apartment building! The community here is amazing, and the people are so friendly. It's great to be in an environment where everyone feels like family. I also appreciate that the building is pet-friendly - it's so nice to see all the happy dogs around! In addition to the friendly atmosphere, the building is incredibly clean and well-maintained. It's clear that the management team takes great pride in keeping everything in top shape. I feel safe and secure here, which is really important to me as a resident. Finally, the location of this building is perfect. There are plenty of great shops and restaurants within walking distance, and I always feel like I'm right in the heart of the action. I love living at Residences at Capital View! The apartment building is quiet, clean, the staff is always friendly and courteous and go out of their way to assist you. The maintenance team does an excellent job. Anytime I have reached out to them with an issue regarding my apartment, the turn around time for them to get the problem fixed is always fast and efficient. Great accessibility - easy walking to State and Capitol buildings, farmers market, Germantown, The Gulch and Downtown/Broadway, Centennial Park and Vanderbilt University. Convenience- having most daily necessities contained within or immediately by the building means that when the weathers bad I still have everything I need close by - gym, indoor resistance pool, grocers, dog areas, cafe/restaurants at doorstep and places to watch the game (in residence amenity areas - or close by) Leasing staff make themselves available for any assistance. Particularly when trying to coordinate the lease arrangements from Australia. They made it easy. Tenants (and their dogs) are friendly and respectful. Real community atmosphere with events spread out over any given month. All goes to making you feel welcome and that you belong.

I love living here. I’m actually filling this out because I did t get the chance to vote or give you my thoughts on fetch. It’s horrible! I had it at my last building -part of the reason I broke my lease and came here. Packages don’t arrive when they say they do, they go missing from your door and the fetch customer service is poor in helping get them back. Fetch is slow as well. My packages are better to arrive in the building and pick up. Otherwise, they go to their facility and then we have to wait until 1 or 2 days later for it to arrive. Sometimes, you can’t even pick it up because they’re closed due to staffing. On top of that, the lockers make me feel better about my packages as well as them arriving in the leasing office. I would hate to see this complex go down this road as well. Otherwise, I love the place!

We have been in 3 Nashville apts incl Carillon, IMT and this one is the best. It’s the little things, being able to hop on I-40 in a minute, staff are warm, turnover is low, most neighbors say hi, golf simulator, yoga classes… I could go on. The only negative is the train now runs 24/7 (used to be only days) if u r a light sleeper get apt facing 11th.

We moved in this summer and have had nothing short of a fantastic experience. The leasing office staff are friendly and accommodating, often times going above and beyond to help residents. The common areas are kept clean, and regular preventative maintenance occurs to keep the building looking brand new. Speaking of maintenance, the team here is friendly, QUICK, and does solid work. We haven't lived in an apartment setting since college, and we are both thrilled with our new home so far; after touring a dozen locations in downtown Nashville, our experience at Capitol View has cemented the fact that we made the right choice!

This apartment complex has been amazing! There are activities almost every week outside of the biweekly workouts. The front staff is incredible and will do everything possible to ensure you enjoy your time and any issues you have resolved promptly. Maintenace is impeccable, tickets are resolved day of most of the time and I feel 100% comfortable letting them into my apartment. All of the staff here is incredibly friendly and hospitable. Amenities are also incredible and remind me of a resort. Anything you may desire is right in the complex. It is well worth the money, would recommend CV before any other complex in Nashville.

Also, Tobi does a great job of planning events that brings everyone together, the staff is friendly, and the building is in a great location. The only reason I don’t give a full 5 stars is that the fire alarm has gone off quite a bit since we lived here in a short amount of time. If that can get “fixed,” it would be a 5/5!

Capital View is a great community. It has some of the best amenities of any community in Nashville. It is close to anything you could possibly want to do. With all of the things surrounding the community, it is very quiet from the inside. The facility is always clean and well kept. The maintenance staff quickly responds to items needing attention within your apartment. They are good to fix cosmetic items that get damaged through everyday living, keeping it fresh and desirable. The concierge, Toby, is awesome. She’s happy, pleasant, and more than helpful. Having her role is great service that many communities don’t have. The on site management has a poor style of sending threatening emails, yet there doesn’t seem to be evidence supporting their messages. I understand they have to find a balance in managing the property and keeping the residences happy, all within the guidelines, but there is certainly a better way to approach them, or communicate.

Amenities are great, staff is great, tide lockers are hype, I need to meet more people but that's on me. Feels very safe. The resistance pool baffles me though, it's so hot I imagine I would pass out if I swam hard in it for more than 8-10 minutes. Also the heat/evaporation causes the chlorine stench to be much more prevalent. I'm sure when it gets colder i will find my way down there.

Capitol View is the best apartment to live in the Gulch area. It is not as noisy as the ones in the heart of the Gulch, and it has amazing amenities. They also have events each month for residents to mingle and for their pets. I highly recommend living here!

Everything here has been A+ so far. The staff: Carly was super helpful in arranging a virtual tour across timezones, answer questions promptly, and making sure all the paperwork was taken care of. I love the residences at capitol view amenities and view from apartment. The neighborhood has great restaurants and other needs like a grocery store. I have a dog so I love the fact there is a dog park nearby and how walkable this location is to everything else like the gulch and broadway.

I moved to Capitol View just over a month ago and I could not be more pleased. The apartment is good-sized and has a great view of the pool area and downtown. The amenities are really first class with a pool, hot tub, sauna, gym, yoga, golf simulator (!), several common areas with seating, hammocks grills, TVs--really nice. Access-controlled parking for residents and a large open parking deck for visitors (this is an issue elsewhere). The location has good restaurants nearby and a Publix in the basement. It's close enough to downtown and The Gulch, but not too close, and 2 minutes to the highway when needed. The Management (Jason, Adam, Carly, Emily, Tobi, and Greg) is also super responsive and helpful. They have been great on everything--application, move-in, package delivery, repairs, organizing and communicating events, etc. Really, really great! I highly recommend Capitol View.

Residences at Capitol View is a great place to live. The staff is great, the apartments are nice and it’s in a great location. The only down side is that the windows are a bit thin, so traffic noise and other noises do come through pretty clearly, definitely would recommend sound cancelling curtains.

I have everything I need here to relax after a busy day- valet dry cleaning, coffee, place to practice golf/yoga and lay at the pool, fastest maintenance services, plenty of fellow dog parents and furry friends for my dog, lush landscaping to see and listen to when it’s windy, responsive leasing agents and managers when I have a question, and plenty of fun community events to choose from.

This is a great apartment complex--very clean and well run. Amenities are very nice and well maintained for the most part. Only reason not 5* is the elevators seem to be out of order with more than occasional frequency which can sometimes make for long waits. Also, while they do have TVs all over the place for residences, majority of them have limited channels or don't work. Both small things but still worth noting. Staff is great and they do great resident events

He is really kind and very efficient. 4 Stars given only because nothing is ever 100% perfect. But my experience has been pretty darn close so far! It’s been great here. I love that there’s the flexibility of being social or enjoying downtime from work. There are plenty of great restaurants and businesses in the area that make it convenient to never have to go too far. The staff are warm, welcoming and accommodating. The other day Tobi even intercepted a package for me that accidentally got shipped to my old apartment address at 1200 Broadway. That’s really going out of the way to be nice. Really, the only critique that I have is that people need to pick up their dog’s poop at the dog park. However, I see that the building really does a great job at taking care of how things are kept up and it’s just a shame that the people who live here find themselves above carrying out that task. In addition, that’s very unfair to the cleaning staff or whoever has to end up picking that up as it should not be part of their job. I would never mention that as a reason within any public comment forum as a reason to not live here. Just fyi

Loving living here! Although we have only lived here a few weeks, I want to express that our apartment quickly feels like home…~pleasant and kind people ~office and front staff (Tobi) and even maintenance have been a positive experience ~fun events ~Let’s not forget coffee in the common area! …it’s nice to settle into not just a temporary apartment, but a home away from home. We have lived here for over a year now. The community is in excellent shape and the staff does a great job ensuring that. They are friendly and responsive, which is a HUGE benefit to living here. The restaurants and publix are a huge plus as well. One downside which has dropped my review from 5* to4.5* is the frequency in which the elevators seem to go out of order. It seems to happen several times a month to any of the 4 main elevators which can cause huge traffic jams when people are trying to leave or get to the parking deck.

Overall living here has been positive and enjoyable. The community is conveniently located to shops, restaurants, and the interstate. Staff are helpful and pleasant to interact with. The two issues I continue to notice are the spots in the carpeting on the 5th floor because of pet stains and the unsightly concrete stains and overflowing trash can near the entrance into the building from 3rd floor of garage. More regular spot cleaning of these two areas would greatly improve the appearance and cleanliness of the community.

Great location and the leasing office staff is so friendly! Perfect spot for dogs as well with the indoor dog run and right next to the dog park! Would recommend. Lots of fun resident events as well!

Love living here! We are able to live in walking distance of several restaurants, attractions and a grocery store and the community here is amazing as well. We have two dogs and they love to use the dog park near by and love the front office girls!

I've been at Capitol View for almost two years now, and have lived in two different floor plans in that time. Management/leasing office personnel have always been transparent and extremely helpful. I was away all summer and each of them went above and beyond to help with any apartment needs while I was out of town!

Can't beat the proximity to the Frankie Pierce dog park and Publix right downstairs! The building is also maintained very well and maintenance issues are addressed quickly.

I moved in last week with my sister. I can't express enough how kind and helpful the staff has been and made our move transition as smooth as possible. They are available practically around the clock for assistance and to answer any questions we may have. We feel extremely welcomed and are excited about our choice to reside at the Residences.

Easily the best apartment complex I’ve even lived in! The amenities are top notch, office staff and maintenance staff are amazing and very quick to respond to any requests. And Tobi, our concierge, is the best. She always has a smile on her face and is willing to help with anything and everything. Could not ask for a better place to call home.

We have lived here for 4 months now and could not be more pleased. The staff is prompt and very serious about delivering a great community experience. Noise is quiet and amenities are top notch. My only complaint is the elevators being used for moving so frequently can be a pain since they are required to essentially leave the building, but that is a small blemish in an otherwise perfect living experience.

Love the amenities and all of the people that we've met. The community events are fantastic for meeting new people esp when nothing else is open from covid. I just really wish that the elevators would stay working and that they didn't take so long. Wish the electric outlets outside worked as well.

I’m enjoying the condo immensely. The location is perfect , nearby conveniences for shopping, exercising and dining. The building management is always sponsoring social events for the residents and any maintenance needs are quickly resolved. If one thing could be improved , it would be keeping the service elevator in working order so as not to restrict the use of our resident elevators.

We love it here, the staff are excellent. We also love the salt water pool and golf simulator (which can be quite challenging.) With Publix downstairs and the Farmers market close by, I can cook European style, buying fresh ingredients as needed.

The staff are awesome and as long as you communicate and talk with them they will work with you. We moved here right after the tornado and were In a bit of a crunch trying to find a place. Adam and Ashley worked with us to ensure we were no longer displaced and felt at home. The location is great, we are near everything! It really is a cool place to live. It truly is a great place to live. I love it so far. I think trash fee should be an option not mandatory seeing as I never use it and cardboard is really difficult to get rid of. And we NEED some sort of way to receive guests day or night without going down to get them in the lobby. It’s not a huge inconvenience really, unless you’re having a couple friends over for dinner and you have four burners going and something in the oven, and you have to go down to the lobby to receive them. That’s a whole different story.

Love living at Capitol View! The amenities here are fabulous! Great pool and gym and very convenient that there is a Publix on the first floor of the building. Building and amenities are very clean and new as well! Staff is always super helpful too. Would highly recommend living here!

Everything is good, mostly! I wish more people would respect the mask ordinance, and the noise on Nelson Merry can be a bit much on weekends (it echoes!). Otherwise great experience!

My boyfriend and I have lived here for almost two years. Our apartment is the perfect size, and I absolutely love the balcony. The amenities are really nice, before Covid I practically lived at the gym. The area is really nice, I love walking around here. It’s super convenient to have Publix and Clean Juice right downstairs and ML Rose across the street.
